How much can one handle before they give up hope and look forward to nothing except the next can of beer? What drives an individual so far that they lose all confidence in humanity? I pulled into a gas station and saw a homeless man who appeared to be in his early 40s sitting on the ground blocking the ATM while drinking a can of beer. The look on his face was one of someone who has had some really rough times in life and has lost the prospect of making a better future for himself. How does someone of a situation such as his ever recover from their downfall or will he ever?
